Depowdering is a key part of post-processing in metal 3D printing, serving to enhance both product quality and powder recycling efficiency.

Depowdering aims to remove metal powder from the exterior and interior surfaces of the parts after printing, which has a direct bearing on the mechanical properties and surface finish of the product. However, traditional manual depowdering methods have many drawbacks. For large and complex parts, manual depowdering is extremely difficult and prone to damaging precision structures.
